We’ve added more new mp3 clips to demonstrate the tonal possibilities of the GPM 45 Head. Now you get to hear different players approach to the same amplifier with some very diverse results that show the capabilities of this fantastic amp.

About the audio samples, they reflect each of the four inputs, with the blues one being the top input on channel 2 with the low inputs jumped. By the way I just want you to be sure – I LOVE the amp!!!
New GPM 45 Head Sound Clips
New sound clips are up for the GPM 45 Head. The clips feature a very unique Metropoulos amplifier, the first GPM 45 built, serial 65001 from 2007, which is covered in white tolex. Owner Chris Cali of San Jose, California recorded his amplifier with two Shure Beta 58′s.

Photo Archives Updated
Visit the Amplifier Archives section of the web site for pictures of Metropoulos plexi replicas. We are in the process of archiving all of the available photos of our builds and many pictures have already been added.
The pictures are organized by model and serial number. You can browse, for example, the 12000 Series Archives, where you would see this custom colored white beauty, serial number 12051.
Photo Archives Open
We have just opened the photo gallery archives for Metropoulos Amplification. The archives will hold pictures of Metropoulos builds organized by model and serial number. End users are welcome to submit their own photographs as well.
Web Site Preview
With the early release of the very favorable Premier Guitar Magazine GPM 45 shootout, the New York Amp Show on May 9th, and the overwhelming demand for information on the new products (thanks to everyone who called and emailed), we have decided to launch a partial version of the Plexi Replicas by Metropoulos Amplification web site. Now you can see the detailed specs and images of the amplifier builds. We are working to add audio, video, photography, artists, press, and more and plan frequent updates in the next few months.
